Cheryl DeBaie is a Canadian painter whose work is rooted in the natural landscapes that have shaped her life. Having lived on both coasts of Canada, her paintings reflect a deep connection to the country's diverse environments – from mountain ranges to coastal shores, and the vast wilderness in between.

Cheryl first began painting in oils as a teenager, developing an early appreciation for realism and the quiet power of nature. After stepping away from art for over two decades to pursue a different career path, she has recenlty returned to painting with a renewed perspective, now working primarily in acrylics.

Her work emphasizes atmosphere over perfection, focusung less on technical precision and more on creating spaes of stillness. Through her landscapes, Cheryl invites viewers to pause, breathe, and become immersed in a sense of calm and peacefullness.
